Gore continues roll-out of revolutionary new GORE-TEX® SHAKEDRY™ product technology

Following a successful launch with a limited number of brand partners in 2015, W. L. Gore & Associates (Gore) will continue its global roll-out of GORE-TEX® SHAKEDRY™ product technology for jackets in 2017.

In 2017, Gore will partner with additional brands to bring GORE-TEX® SHAKEDRY™ product technology to more runners and cyclists.

In Europe, new SHAKEDRY™ partners will include Mammut, Dynafit and Löffler, along with other brands. The North Face, Castelli, GORE RUNNING WEAR®, GORE BIKE WEAR® and Arc’teryx that brought the new product to market successfully will continue to use the technology moving forward.

GORE-TEX® SHAKEDRY™ product technology has transformed the sports-performance market. The technology removes the need for a face fabric, making it the lightest and most breathable GORE-TEX® product to date. They can simply be shaken dry and users can easily pack their jacket away in a dry state.

“We have received enormously positive user feedback since we introduced SHAKEDRY™ product technology. This revolutionary technology marks a big step forward for GORE-TEX® brand. Because it has such an excellent balance of protection and comfort, it is truly wearable in rain or shine.” said Johannes Ebert, Product Specialist at Gore.
